Gennaker 1 & 2 OHVS for TSO 50 Hertz - 2 x 450 MW

Two platforms Gennaker 1 (West) and 2 (East) by 50Hertz for the Gennaker offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea. With a total capacity of 927 MW, this will be the largest and most powerful offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. The consortium HSI (HSM Offshore Energy, Smulders and Iv-Offshore & Energy) are responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of both substations and jackets. The substructures of the Gennaker OSS is a steel construction supporting the topside with 6 legs with 6 piles (i.e. 1 at each leg). It is designed as a Pile through Leg design for shallow water and to be transported in a vertical orientation on a barge and installed by dual crane lift with ILT’s and floating spreader bars. The substructure height is approx. 33 metres.
