CALM Buoy and PLEM Subsea Manifold, part of Offloading Terminal at Covenas, Columbia. The CALM (Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring) and PLEM (Pipe Line End Manifold) are part of the Offloading Terminal at Covenas and belong to the Cusiana/Cupiagua field in Columbia. The buoy consists of a 6 compartment floating body and a turret structure. 6 anchor chains connect the turret to the seabed. The PLEM is piled to the seabed and is connected by 2 submarine hose strings to the turret and a pipeline to the onshore terminal. The shuttle vessels can weathervane 360º around the turret during loading.
