Job description

HSM Offshore Energy is looking for a Dimensional Controller a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of all fabrication works, maintaining our reputation for excellence in the offshore energy sector. As a Dimensional Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and verifying the dimensional accuracy of all products from the detail engineering phase through to construction and final assembly. Your expertise will ensure that all customer specifications and construction standards are translated into dimensional control plans with construction tolerances included, adhering to the strictest quality and safety standards.

As our Dimensional Controller you maintain accurate records of measurements and inspections for quality assurance and compliance purposes and provide expert advice and support on dimensional control matters to project and production teams.

Who are we looking for?

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (MTS Werktuigbouwkunde) and VCA certificate.
• Professional certifications in or experience with AutoCAD, calibration systems and modern measuring techniques are highly desirable.
• Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in dimension controlling, preferably in the construction of offshore platforms or similar heavy industry projects.
• The ability to influence and engage involved parties at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on safety and compliance.
• You have good communication skills.
• You have a good command of the English language.
