Project information

The substation has a planned capacity of 400 MW. It is platform number eight with 50Hertz involvement in the Baltic Sea. The consortium HSI (HSM Offshore Energy, Smulders and Iv-Offshore & Energy) will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of the substation and jacket. The substructure of the Jasmund Offshore Substation is a steel construction supporting the topside with 6 legs with 6 skirt piles (i.e. 1 at each leg). It is designed to be transported in a vertical orientation on a barge and installed by dual crane lift with ILT’s and floating spreader bars. The substructure height is approx. 65 m.
